Packing List Preparation and Weight Declaration
How to record packages, dimensions, net weight, and gross weight clearly.
A Packing List identifies the contents of each carton, pallet, drum, crate, or other handling unit. Customs review, warehouse handling, and transport planning rely on it, so products and quantities should reconcile with the Commercial Invoice.
Net Weight excludes packing, while Gross Weight includes packaging and pallets. Label preliminary estimates clearly and replace them with measured values before shipment.
