Estimated Transit Times and Schedule Changes
How estimated schedules work and why timing may change before or after departure.
Transit time is an estimate based on the schedule available when a quotation or booking is reviewed; it is not a guaranteed arrival date. Connections, cut-offs, equipment and capacity, congestion, weather, security, and inspection procedures can change timing.
Plan separately for Port-to-Port or Airport-to-Airport movement and total lead time that may include pickup, clearance, and final delivery. Time-sensitive cargo should include a reasonable buffer and alternative schedules.
